Terms and Conditions
Nominations must be submitted through the awards website by midnight November 12th.
Participants and organisations are welcome to nominate themselves for one, or all categories.
Individuals, campaigns and initiatives nominated, must have engaged Australians at some point in 2017.

Nomination submissions cannot be altered.
Finalists are selected by a team of professional campaigners comprised of community power building, media and digital advocacy experts from Australian Progress, Do Gooder and beyond.
Finalists will be selected by the judging panel on or about November 13, 2017. Judges will evaluate entries, based on a set of questions that differs between categories.
Winners of the Australian Progress Impact Award and the Do Gooder Award will be chosen by public voting. The public will be voting on the finalists chosen by the judging committee.
The judging committee does not have capacity to enter into any correspondence and any decisions made by the committee are final.
The finalists for all categories will be revealed at website url on or about November 14, 2017.
Public voting be open for the Australian Progress Impact Award and the Do Gooder Award, from November 14 through to November 23, 2017 until 1.30pm AEST.
During this time the community will be encouraged to vote for their favorite individual or campaign. Nominees and participating groups and organisations are encouraged to promote their nomination.
Finalists may request a copy of the award logo to use in promotional activity.
Votes may only be cast on the Do Gooder awards website.
At the close of the voting period, the submission in each category that receives the most votes will be declared the winner.
In the unlikely event that public voting results in a tie, the judging panel will decide the winner.
Prizes and winners
Winners will be announced at the FWD + Organise 2017 conference.
Prizes will be awarded to participants as outlined here: (https://awards.dogooder.co/awards/) and will be provided to the participants either on the 23rd of November or within a month of receiving the award.
Submission of a nomination to the Do Gooder awards constitutes your acceptance of these rules.
The person nominating must own or have the approval of the rightful owner to share any information or imagery with the Do Gooder awards team. This information and imagery can then be used in promotional material and shared (but not sold) without the consent.
Winners of the Australian Progress Impact Award must be able to receive their award in person at the FWD + Organise conference in Sydney 2017.
Employees or directors of Do Gooder and Australian Progress are not eligible to compete for an award.
Entries that are lewd, obscene, pornographic, disparaging of Do Gooder, Australian Progress or of another nonprofit organization or otherwise contain objectionable material may be disqualified at the sole discretion of Do Gooder OR Australian Progress.
At the discretion of Australian Impact and Do Gooder, all winners are subject to verification, including without limitation, verification of eligibility, compliance with these rules and completion of all required forms.
Entrants agree that Australian Progress and Do Gooder have the sole right to decide all matters and disputes arising from these awards and that all decisions are final and binding.
